Language lovers converge as colleagues to unpackage the ideas and
ideology that push-pull us as we contemplate the skills and joys of
writing. The YRC (Young Rhetoricians' Conference) looks to issues
that enable us to enable our students. Bring your concerns
(ideological and/or intuitive) to the beach as we gather to
rejuvenate ourselves and ponder what we are about~~where the
Monterey Bay warmly greets general sessions, workshops, panels,
and luncheons.
Until March 2, 2001, we are accepting proposals for general and
concurrent sessions. In keeping with the sense of the YRC, please
try to show an interplay of theory and practice--not privileging
the one to the other. You may submit a proposal for either a
whole 90-minute panel (two or more persons) or for a place in such
a session. This year the YRC considers
